Farriery

• Specimen Work - Specimens will be used for the beginning of the program, as well as periodically throughout, to develop proper techniques in tool use, nailing, nail patterns, shoe shaping, etc.

• Students will work on horses belonging to customers of qualified Farriers

• It is understood that students will not work on said horses until qualified

• The school has 19 horses and ponies for students
  to work on under supervision .

• Trimming and Dressing the Hoof for balance
